From the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the Marshes

The Al-Ahwar tourist marina in the Chibayish marshes welcomed a group of 12 visitors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, who spent a memorable night immersed in the heart of the marshlands. Their trip included a visit to the Martyrs’ Monument in the marshes, as well as a tour in traditional *mashahif* (canoes) to explore the beauty of the natural landscape and the charm of the local atmosphere. Despite the drought and water scarcity currently affecting the marshes, the region continues to prove its status as a global tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world.
